An air-cooled chiller is a cooling system that uses ambient air to condense and cool refrigerant, which is then used to cool a building or process. Efficiency criteria is based on ARI standards at standard conditions (44°F leaving chilled water, 2.4 GPM/ton, 95°F entering condenser air). Attach a copy of the manufacturer’s performance sheet. Air-cooled chiller efficiencies shall include condenser fan energy.
