A packaged terminal heat pump (PTHP) is a self-contained, ductless unit that provides both heating and cooling for individual spaces like hotel rooms, apartments or smaller buildings. It's essentially a heat pump, which uses refrigeration to move heat, allowing it to heat in winter and cool in summer. PTHPs are often installed through a wall sleeve and require only a permanent electrical connection.
